PRACTICAL WATER CONSERVATION


Me who write this physically completed the water usage for recycling in the kitchen assessment which is made available here for Monday 29th December 2025. 

Some of the water that was saved for recycling water used in the kitchen was kept in a large container outside through some specially constructed piping reaching the drum directly.


There was also some water kept in a basin in the kitchen.


Some water was used from a container to water some plants on Monday 29th December 2025 and recycled water was also used to water some plants which was recycled water from Sunday 28th December 2025.

The amount of water recycled and conserved on Monday 29th December 2025 outside the kitchen is 17.473 Litres.


OBSERVATION

Approximately 17.25 Litres of recycled water was poured into the outside container through the piping which has a water reading of 17.473 Litres, a difference of approximately 0.223 Litres.  

The amount of water recycled and conserved on Wednesday 24th December 2025 inside the kitchen basin is approximately 24.085 Litres. 


The amount of water recycled and conserved on Wednesday 24th December 2025 is 17.473 Litres + 24.085 Litres = approximately 41.558 Litres.

If this water were not being recycled in this way it would go straight to the gutter and then to the ground outside the building but within the compound.

PWC015710052026 SUNDAY 10th May 2026 PRACTICAL WATER CONSERVATION Me who write this physically completed the water usage for recycling in the kitchen assessment which is made available here in this report.  Due to challenges using the pipe leading to the outside water container, the water from inside the kitchen was poured into the outside container using a container with the recycled water brought from the kitchen to the outside container. There was also some water kept in a basin in the kitchen.  Some water was used from a container to water some plants. Recycled water was also used to water some plants.  The amount of water recycled and conserved outside the kitchen is 15.987  Litres.   The amount of water recycled and conserved inside the kitchen basin is approximately 7.119 Litres.    The amount of water recycled and conserved is   15.987   Litres + 7.119 Litres = approximately 23.106   Litres.
