PRACTICAL WATER CONSERVATION


Me who write this physically completed the water usage for recycling in the kitchen assessment which is made available here in this report. 

Due to challenges using the pipe leading to the outside water container, the recycled water from inside the kitchen for outside the kitchen was poured into the outside recycled water container using a container with the recycled water brought from the kitchen to the outside container. 

There was also some water kept in a basin in the kitchen.

Some water was used from a container to water some plants. Recycled water was also used to water some plants. 

The amount of water recycled and conserved outside the kitchen is 14.081 Litres.


OBSERVATION

There is no measurement inside the kitchen for the outside container because the recycled water was carried in a container directly to the outside container and the reading taken immediately. 

The amount of water recycled and conserved inside the kitchen basin is approximately 30.505 Litres. 


The amount of water recycled and conserved is 14.081 Litres + 30.505 Litres = approximately 44.586 Litres.

If this water were not being recycled in this way it would go straight to the gutter and then to the ground outside the building but within the compound.
